Osprey Fairview 40+15 liter

This backpack is designed for female posture and is so comfortable! This was my first ever backpack and I carried it with me through Southeast Asia for 5 months and my friend borrowed it for her 3 month trip too. Even after all the traveling, the bag is still in very good shape and barely has any scratches. The backpack itself is 40L and the daypack is 15L. The daypack is attached to the front which you can unzip. You can also unzip the daypack and clip it to the front if you'd like to evenly distribute the weight. It has a clamshell opening, which makes it so easy to pack and find everything.

All features

  • Lightweight

  • shoulder strap hiding compartment

  • Detachable daypack

  • Two front compression straps

  • Backpanel to put away the waist and shoulder straps

  • Laptop compartment that fits a 16 inch laptop in daypack

  • Interlock zippers

  • Compression straps

  • Clamshell opening

  • Durable

  • Carry on size

The bag has two padded handles, one on the side and one on the top. One of my favorite features of this bag is that there's a backpanel that you can unroll, so you can zip up the shoulder and waist straps when you check in your bag! No more loose and ripped straps. There's two small pockets on the front of the daypack, in which fits a small water bottle and a laptop compartment that fits a 16 inch laptop. I do wish the pockets to put in a water bottle was a bit bigger, cause my water bottle kept falling out.

I wish there were more pockets on the main backpack. The design is simple and straight forward, which is great, but I do like to organize my stuff and put my stuff everywhere.

If you like it simple and are looking for a good quality bag I highly recommend this one!

My other posts

The zippers interlockable, and are hideable for extra safety.
